Unbelievable – The BBC reply to War on Plastic

We have had a response (at last) to our complaints to the BBC about its anti-plastic bias. This reply tells us all we need to know about the organization.

In summary, their reply says:

‘Many thanks (sic) for your letter ref the programme War on Plastic. We normally respond to all complaints within 20 working days. Unfortunately, at the moment, we are dealing with a high level of complaints so this may not be possible due to the excessive number of complaints.’

The BBC employs over 22,000 people, the public pay some £3.7 billion in license fees, yet it cannot respond to complaints inside 1 month. What commercial organization could survive with this level of disdain for its customers. Nor do they seem to appreciate the irony of having a constantly growing number of complaints which they are unable to handle.

As soon as I hear from them, I will pass on their reply.
