Every day is a school day

Welcome Michigan State University!

Last week was an exciting week for Nat Flex as we welcomed students from Michigan State University (MSU).

MSU, a top global university, pushes the boundaries of discovery to make a better world while providing students with life-changing opportunities.

Currently the nation's largest packaging program resides at MSU, which was established in 1952 as the first program of its kind. The School of Packaging (SoP) stands as the nation's largest and most comprehensive packaging program and has conferred more than 7,000 degrees.

Having the right tools at your disposal is essential to help further your career path. Some examples of networking and educational opportunities include attending trade shows, webinars, enrolling in online courses as well as signing up for in-person training.

So, what better way for us to be able to offer our help than a behind the scenes tour?!

Arriving by coach load, a warm, Yorkshire, 'cake and a cuppa' welcome was awaiting, along with a presentation from our CEO, Barry Twigg. A site tour, (including an introduction to our Nat Flex Racetrack!) was then followed by a spot of lunch, before our Sales Director, Dave Daniels, presented The Academy

Nat Flex welcoming the MUA Professors & Students

The Academy is an interactive presentation providing an unbiased view of plastic packaging. Through our expertise, we provide the tools and knowledge needed to protect and preserve products without causing harm to the environment and discover why plastics may not always be the worst option for the planet.

Available to anyone who would like to attend, The Academy is aimed at those who are working within the Packaging Industry or would simply like to learn more about packaging. There really is something for everyone.

After a successful visit, we are super pleased to hear the Professors would like to return with their students again next year and we look forward to welcoming you!
