The quality of flexographic printing continues to improve year by year due to technical advances in image reproduction, plate manufacturing, ink formulation and print-press technology. The latest photopolymer plates provide excellent image quality and digital direct-to-plate processes now offer economical high quality definition alternatives.
Kodak Flexcel NX
Among the latest developments is Kodak’s Flexcel NX flexographic plate technology which, when used with Digicap screening, allows for the same high-quality image possible with gravure – accurately reproducing the sharpest image detail.
Ink Technology
Flexographic printing inks are formulated to be compatible with a wide variety of film substrates used in packaging. Our experience working with customers on a wide variety of applications has given us an in-depth knowledge of solvent-based, UV (ultra-violet) and electron beam curing inks and how to use them to best effect to achieve the print results you want.
