Certain applications call for the use of single web films with unique characteristics which make them ideally suited in terms of performance, appearance, cost or machinability. Our specialist knowledge of the properties of films and our diverse supplier base means that we can provide you with a wide range of films which function in an optimum way for your packaging. Here are just a few examples:-
Polyester flow-wrap
The unique thermal stability of polyester means it is ovenable up to 220°C. Products such as pastries, pies, pasties, etc. can be packed, frozen and re-heated in a conventional oven without the need to remove the packaging. It is often perforated to allow moisture release during re-heating and is fully printable with our specialist ovenable inks.
Polyester Lidding
Heat-sealable polyester lidding is perfect for heating food in CPET or APET trays such as ready meals, desserts and sauces. It will weld-seal to CPET trays and is ovenable up to 220°C. Alternative seal layers can allow for peelable seals when hot or cold.
Co-extruded PE
This multi-layer PE film offers excellent sealing performance and good puncture resistance in a single web film for VFFS and HFFS applications. As a potential alternative to laminated films, these materials are ideal for packing difficult products such as coins, bolts, powders or plastic components.
